Filippo is a professional musician with a background in percussion instruments and a classical training.

His approach as a drummer is characterized by a sensitivity to musical nuances, focusing on the emotional impact of rhythm rather than technical skill. He also explores and experiments with various sounds, often using unconventional objects to create unique auditory experiences.

His passion lies in combining and manipulating sounds to generate innovative and engaging musical textures.

Filippo engages with a diverse array of Italian studios and producers and maintains an active role both in the studio and on stage with artists such as Niccolò Fabi, Malika Ayane, Andrea Laszlo De Simone, Jeremiah Fraites (The Lumineers), Bianco, among others.

He is the founder of BAAB, an electroacoustic and multidisciplinary project that synergistically blends music with architecture, photography, dance, and theater.
